I was born and raised in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. At
the age of 15 my family and I moved to Savannah, Georgia. I earned my
Bachelor's in Early Elementary Education at Armstrong Atlantic State University
in December, 1996. I taught in Chatham County Public Schools for 9 years,
ranging from grades kindergarten through fifth.
In 2005 my husband, Adam, and I moved here to Duluth, Georgia with our two beautiful girls, Catherine and Juliet. I began teaching for Gwinnett County Public Schools at Berkeley Lake Elementary School.
I earned my National Board Certification in Middle Childhood Generalist in 2005. In 2007 I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Jones International University. I began working at Norcross Elementary School in 2010.
This is now my sixteenth year teaching in an Elementary Classroom and I have thoroughly enjoyed every year. My teaching career has given me many learning experiences to grow as a teacher, learner and leader.
